Kota on stage at Amplyfi
AMPLYFi's owner, Kota Wade, is a 24 year old award winning singer, songwriter, pianist, guitarist, and dancer. Kota can also be seen rocking the Amplyfi stage with her award-winning band "Bad Wolf". Visit them on YOUTUBE.
In January 2011, she opened up her own venue, Amplyfi, to have a stage to perform on any time she wanted, and so she could network with bands and make a career out of her passion for music. Since Kota has been on the musician side of the business, she's the perfect mix of artist and business sense, which is why bands love working with Amplyfi.
Kota was on Team Gwen Stefani on NBC's The Voice Season 9. She is also a host of Seventeen Magazine's "17 Daily" show, is signed to Disney's Maker Studios for her YouTube channel "Steamfaerie", which has over 50 Million views and was named one of 12 Official Fashion Ambassadors for L.A. Fashion Week 2016.
Kota won First Place in the AMERICAN IDOL UNDERGROUND songwriting competition, was the youngest winner in all the genres and was named in AMERICAN IDOL magazine as one of the A.I. UNDERGROUND'S "BEST EMERGING ARTISTS".
LA Weekly's annual "Best of LA: People" issue featured Kota and also chose her as one of five front covers, along with American Idol's Adam Lambert, Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher, LA Dodger Matt Kemp, and Jonny Coffin of Coffin guitar cases.
Kota has recorded with many top writer/producers including Dan Heath (Lana Del Rey), Jimmy Harry (Golden Globe Winner/Grammy Nominated writer/producer), J.C.Chasez (`N Sync), Wayne Wilkins (Pink, Jordin Sparks), Danielle Brisebois (Natasha Bedingfield), and Steve Solukowski (Selena Gomez, 16 Frames).
Amplyfi was named "BEST ALL AGES VENUE IN L.A." in L.A. Weekly's annual "Best Of L.A." and was also featured on NBC's The Voice Season 9.
